Program Announced

Mark your calendar for this year’s Children’s Health Today Conference on November 3 and 4, 2023 at UBC Robson Square in downtown Vancouver!

You’ll want to attend this upcoming conference which is presented through a partnership between BC Pediatric Society and the BC Children’s Hospital.

Every year the BC Pediatric Society partners with a different specialty from BC Children’s Hospital. This year, we are thrilled to be working with the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to bring a specific focus on mental health.

Day 1, Friday, November 3, will cover presentations on a variety of subjects at the forefront of every pediatrician’s mind. From Indigenous health and reconciliation and information on bleeding disorders to pediatric gynecology and contraception to physician wellness/resilience and an update on urology, we will have nine presentations that have been hand-picked as the top issues affecting today’s youth.

Day 2, Saturday, November 4, will focus on child and youth psychiatry and mental health. From self harm in neurodiverse population and mental health in the transgender population to OCD, PANDAS, and the immune system, and managing agitation, there will be ten presentations from specialists wanting to share their expert knowledge with you.

Standards rates are available July 10, 2023 onward. All Conference rates are in Canadian Dollars.

This event has been approved by the Canadian Paediatric Society for a maximum of 13 credit hours as an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
