cme & education
One of the main goals of the BC Pediatric Society is to provide accredited educational events for pediatricians and other health care professionals. The two main programs we provide are:

Evening Journal Club Dinners: this series of presentations focuses on topics of interest to pediatricians. We survey our members to see what topics they want to hear about, so if you have a request, please let the BCPS Executive Director know at bcpeds.bc.ca.

Children's Health. Today: The BCPS partners with a Department at Children's Hospital to deliver this two day conference, the first day of which is a general pediatric day, and the second is a more focused day (this year it was focused on endocrinology). mdPassport is Canada’s destination website for healthcare professionals to learn, interact and explore topics helpful to their practice. In addition to unlimited access to free accredited medical education, mdPassport provides the latest resources, applications and materials to explore therapeutic areas to their fullest. BC Pediatric Diabetes Day Conference: The Division of Continuing Professional Development at UBC will deliver this two day conference. Please click here to access the website and click here to register.
